Sarthak Johnson Prasad is a final year undergraduate from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is an enthusiastic and quick learner who is passionate about making a difference in the world of technology. He is proficient in C++, Python, and JS, and has a strong knowledge of Flask, Node, and React. He is also familiar with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firebase. Sarthak is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cisco, where he has gained 0.78 years of relevant experience. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cisco, where he developed a REST API to send data required for 3D visualization of Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) network. He also wrote programs to fetch data from the ElasticSearch DB and migrate it into the Dgraph for faster search. Additionally, he added multiple endpoints to the API server to bring additional functionality to the network topology while also speeding up the data transaction process between Frontend and the Dgraph instance. Sarthak is also an Executive Editor at The Scholars' Avenue, which is the student-run campus media body of the institute. He is responsible for bringing the latest happenings across the campus and outside of relevance to the view of over a 40,000 readership base including various alumni and the current batch of students. He also undertakes projects like Internpedia, TnPedia which help students in preparing for their ideal portfolio during campus selections while also bringing them a top to bottom analysis of Placements every year through Suit'Up. Apart from his professional life, Sarthak likes to participate in programming contests, read, and play chess. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
